Field Service Manager
Job Summary
Manages the field service personnel work force who perform on-site routine services including maintenance and repair of HVAC equipment. Oversees the scheduling and training of field service representatives. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, both departmentally and individual field service personnel. Performs a variety of tasks. Works with a high degree of honesty and integrity to promote a positive image.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 7 years HVAC Service, Maintenance and Repair experience
EPA Certified
Master Heat Pump Certified
Satisfactory driving record as required by the company’s insurance provider
Proficient in service repair of HVAC equipment
Comprehensive refrigerant trouble-shooting experience
Drug free
Valid driver’s license
Job Duties
Responsible for BBB, ROC and other related Company ratings
Proficient in knowledge and implementation of all Standard Operating Procedures relating to the Service Department (Technicians, CSR & Dispatch)
Responsible for growth of Service Business through recruitment of quality, competent HVAC Technicians
Responsible for properly maintained Company Fleet driven by HVAC Service Technicians
Responsible for ensuring HVAC Service Technicians submission of complete/accurate required paperwork and assigned tasks effectively and efficiently
Proficient in knowledge and implementation of all Safety Requirements as determined by Company
Manages the HVAC Service Technicians including schedules, training, evaluations, certifications, personnel related duties
Monitoring of HVAC Service Technicians sales goals (daily, weekly, monthly & yearly)
Manager On-Call rotation (nights/weekends)
Deliver exceptional customer satisfaction
Performs other duties as assigned
Pay Scale
Salary + Discretionary Bonus
Pay will be based on experience and performance.
